FormMail is a generic WWW form to e-mail gateway, which will parse the results of any form and send them to the specified user. This script has many formatting and operational options, most of which can be specified through the form, meaning you don't need any programming knowledge or multiple scripts for multiple forms. This also makes FormMail the perfect system-wide solution for allowing users form-based user feedback capabilities without the risks of allowing freedom of CGI access. There are several add-on and mods for this script. |

This script is VERY useful for auto-mailing binary files to a user that enters their email address on a website form. The script auto-forwards an email to the form user that contains a text body and an attachment file. The attachment file can be binary (gif, exe, etc.) if desired. The owner can log the email to a file, send a confirmation of the request, do both, or neither. |

f2m retrieves a copy of the existing form from your web site, then uses the copy as a template for the email message. This means you don't have to spend time setting up a complicated template for your email, and the email message looks exactly like the HTML form. Also, since
f2m does not use the *nix sendmail program unlike almost all of the other form mail programs, f2m will run on Both Windows and *nix servers (and just about any other server that has Perl installed). |
