LogCount cgi is a versatile FREE-to-use Unix web site counter script written for Perl 5, and is used on this site installed to an Apache powered Unix server. The counter script is not large, allows you to use your own images, and includes several handy features enabling it to control all the hit logging needs of most web sites. LogCount can also count with a time display, or show the time without counting. Also supplied is a separate basic log viewer, LogLook, which easily displays a colour coded track of each visitors page hits. |

c2countit allows you to have a FREE graphical counter on any and all pages that you want. Most counters have to use SSI (Server Side Includes), which really slows down the speed of your pages, but c2countit uses a small C program called fly, which is very fast and very easy to install! c2countit doesn't keep any stats but it is the simpliest easiest counter on the web. |

LiveCounter Classic is an award winning web page access counter which can display up-to-the-minute hits count using an animated odometer-like display. LiveCounter made its mark as the first web page access counter able to update its hits display as you watch. It was also the first Java enabled counter to have a CGI backup counter, making it possible to count visitors using non-Java enabled browsers as well. |

This is a very versatile counter. It can be used with Server Side Includes (SSI) or by a simple HTML image tag. The SSI method allows for more display options, such as plain text output, which can then be manipulated by the HTML markup of the web page. On the other hand, the image tag method can be used to put counters in HTML documents residing on remote web sites. You can even embed a VersaCounter in virtual HTML documents produced by other CGI scripts. |
