I needed a script that could retrieve the current exchange rate and convert currency on the fly to US funds so I could use US credit card processing services like Paypal for billing my Australia based website.. I couldn't find one, so I made one in perl. Just open it in notepad to read the directions, using a different currency is as simple as changing the USDAUD=X part of the line below the direction to the currency you want, eg New Zealand would be USDNZD=X, save the file and it will now convert Us to NZ dollar.
