The
script ratings at CGI Extremes are generated by
visitors to the site. If you would like to add a
rating link to your site for a specific script, please
choose from the formats below.
IMPORTANT:
Every script on CGI Extremes is assigned a unique ID
number which is used to track it's rating. In
order to specify which script your rating link is
going to accept votes for, you need find out that
unique ID number. To do so, find the script you
wish to add a rating link to on CGI Extremes.
Now, if you hover the mouse pointer over the
"Rate Script" link, you should a see a line
in the status bar of the browser similar to this:
../cgi-bin/links/rate.cgi?ID=1258','ShowInfo',500,400)
Right
after where it says "rate.cgi?" is specified
ID=1258, that is the unique ID for this particular script
- 1258. You will then need to take that number
(1258) and replace it in the HTML code below where it
says "REPLACE THIS
NUMBER WITH UNIQUE ID".
If
you have problems, or cannot find the unique ID for
a particular script, please contact at cgi @ cgiextremes.com.
Rating
will not show up on the website right away. It
usually takes anywhere from a 12 to 24 hours until
ratings are compiled and updated.
You
may adjust the rating links below to fit the format of
your site (color, size, borders, etc.) However, I do ask
that you keep a link to the CGI Extremes main page
near the rating drop down menu.
